I will do my best to describe an ideology of life that I am trying to adapt. I have given the ideology the name “Whateverism” and the name doesnt really bear all too many secrets.
To be able to consider yourself as a full fledged “Whateverist” you are looking at problems and such with a not so ordinary view. The motto obviously is “Whatever”.
But do not mistake me for what I mean by thinking that Whateverism is about being ignorant and not giving a shit.
Whateverism is about accepting things as they are, it’s about reaching the point when you realize that you can’t change it, and therefore is not in need of mourning.
Although I must say that this is only a sub-ideology, it will never be the main one. But I am convinced in that’d things would appear much easier if you just could could get that little voice in your head to whisper; “Whatever…”
” In your head, in your head
They’re still fightin’!
With their tanks, and their bombs
And their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head!
They are dyin’!
In your head! In your head!”
I think this one’s my favorite! I totally agree!
What happens when there is something you can do to change it? Or what happens when there is someone that needs help? Isn’t saying ‘whatever’ at those times not OK?
